To snow!

mindset for moms

The author of one of my favorite books, Steady Days, A Journey Toward Professional, Intentional Motherhood, has written another book, Mindset for Moms.  You ought to check it out!  

"snow, snow!", said Froggy . . .

. . . "I want to play in the snow!" 

Well, no one forgot their underwear around here (thankfully) but we were certainly as excited as Froggy about finally getting some snow this winter! 

(Go ahead, ask me how many times I've read that book the last two weeks.  Like, no fewer than 87 bazillion.  And that's the honest truth.)

For some reason this winter, it's been warm.  Really warm.  And since it was warm, we found some new front yard entertainment! 

Then, when the excitement of kicking around a ball and running around the yard has sufficiently tripped your trigger . . .

You make a house!  Reporting from 65 degrees in January, over and out. 

 

back in the saddle again

It's been a while, winter and all.  This week we had the most beautiful weather and it was time to revisit one of August's favorite places.  He and Keesha (his horse) are fast friends and I can't think of too much he likes better than riding up there in that saddle and just spending time with the horses.  What a good way to spend a warm February afternoon.
